About me
I’m Stella, an integrative therapist offering a warm, grounded, and collaborative space for people who feel stuck in anxiety, overwhelm, self-doubt, or patterns that no longer feel sustainable.
Many of the people I work with are used to coping on their own — overthinking, pushing through, adapting to others, or trying to hold everything together — while privately feeling exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unsure what they need anymore. Often, they can recognise their patterns intellectually, but still feel stuck in them emotionally.
My approach combines talking therapy with nervous system awareness, parts work, somatic approaches, attachment understanding, and practical support where helpful. I’m interested not just in symptoms themselves, but in the deeper emotional and survival patterns underneath them. Patterns like anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, or self-doubt often begin as ways of coping, adapting, or staying safe. Together, we explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment or shame.
I know starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you’re used to minimising your struggles or feeling like you “should” be able to manage things on your own. My aim is to offer a space where you feel genuinely supported and able to explore things at your own pace. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin — therapy can simply start with the sense that something no longer feels sustainable, or that part of you wants life to feel different.
Alongside my professional training, my interest in therapy has also been shaped by personal experiences of anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, and navigating change. I know how easy it can be to lose connection with yourself while trying to cope or keep going, which is part of what draws me to this work.
